August 31 - eptember 3, 2017 The Turnbull Family Presents the 10th Annual Back Forty Bluegrass Festival, Curryville. 8 miles west of Bowling Green on Route 54. Park address: 5955 PIKE 32, Curryville, MO 63339 Weekend Pass (All Shows) $50.00 ($20.00 each day) Sunday Service 10:00am by donation. Children Ages 0-18 free. Camping no electric $10/day. Camping with electric $16/day Bring your lawn chairs. Cook-shack on site. Water available.

September 9, 2017 Golden Hills Plein Air in Louisiana. Join artists from around the region as they paint the colors and atmosphere of the beautiful town of Louisiana Missouri and the surrounding hills and valleys, overlooks, rivers and streams. Artists begin arriving and painting around 7am and will display their work for sale at a FREE public exhibition and reception from 5:30 to 7:00pm.

September 9, 2017 Champ Clark Heritage Festival in Bowling Green offers a parade, a vintage car show, arts and crafts vendors, and good food.

September 24, 2017 is the Country Fair and Picnic at the Village of the Blue Rose from 12PM-5PM. Live music and games, silent auction and pony rides. 573-242-3539

October 14 & 15, 2017 The Clarksville Community Chamber of Commerce will host the 39th Annual AppleFest and the Apple Shed in Clarksville. Two days of craft vendors and flea market and food after the big Saturday morning parade.

November 4 & 5, 2017 is 50 Miles of Art from Clarksville to Hannibal. Artisan open their studios for demonstrations and sales of their "one of a kind" crafts.

December 2 & 3, 2017 visit an old time Christmas Market at the AppleShed in Clarksville.

December - all month - Clarksville's City Hall becomes a Santa Wonderland. More Christmas Trees and Santas than you have ever seen in one place. A family picture delight.

August 19, 2017 Clarksville will become A Day In Oz with the Steven's Marionettes and the RAC-OZ Players. Everyone is welcome to come in costume and enter the look-a-like contests. There are games and pony rides for the children and vendors for their parents. A great family fun day.
